The most important difference of Davraz Ski Resort from other ski resorts is its lake view. You can ski with the accompanied view of the Lake Eğirdir. You can either stay at the resort or make short trips for the day.

Before getting there, it is advisable to check the snow condition at Google DAVRAZ LIVE WEBCAM. Long queue at the chairlift during weekends. Fast-food services upstairs include Turkish style spicy sausage “sucuk” and bread, hot chocolate and salep. Recommended.

Erciyes Ski Resort has 41 slopes with varying degrees of difficulty, and 154 artificial snow machine, and offers its guests and enjoyable and relaxing holiday opportunity.

The resort has an accommodation facility with a capacity of 100,000 people during the weekends, and it stands out with its ski slope which is the longest one in Turkey.

This ski resort receives 2 to 3 direct flights from Russia on a weekly basis, and it’s one of the best resorts in Turkey. However it ranks as the third resort, mostly because of slightly higher prices.

Kayseri Erciyes is able to offer its guests a number of activities like snow-volleyball. Snow level is compensated during some certain periods of the season using artificial snow machines.

I was there in January, and Palandöken was neat. Luckily, it had snowed generously. We took the rope railway to the hill Ejder 3200. The word wonderful feels like it has been invented to describe the landscape here. If you ever pass by Erzurum during winter time, I strongly advise you to go there. Even if you don’t make any kind of sports, you will certainly enjoy travelling and sightseeing.

In scope of Universiade, the most inclusive winter sports organised in Turkey, approximately 735 million dollars were spent in 2011 in order to build the most eminent high-board of Europe -one and only in Turkey- as well as constructing many other new facilities, and renovating the existing ones.

Just to be able to offer the best services at favourable prices, Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality has brought into life some social facilities at this resort in which many different activities can be done such as paragliding, climbing, snow-tube, and paintball; and all these facilities are dedicated to the use of the people.

The quality of services have continuously been monitored since 2011 by the governorship of Erzurum and Palandöken Municipality. The resort is so close to the city centre that accommodation and dining services can be obtained at the city centre at considerable lower costs.
